The transfer of Paul Pogba has lingered all summer but Manchester united faithfuls can now breath a sigh of relief. Their gem is back, better, and rearing to go.

And with this signing Manutd has made a big statement to the whole world of their readiness to dominate the football world once more.

The transfer completes the list of four players that Jose Mourinho set out to sign for United. He has already acqired the services of the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly.

Since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United has not won the premier League. This had lead to the sacking of two different coaches in David Moyes and Louis Van Gal.

Mourinho on the other hand faced the ruthlessness of Chelsea owner last winter having over looked a disastrous title defense with the blues. The club finished in mid table under care taker coach Gus Hiddink.

He was appointed at Manchester United in a bid to bring the club back to where it belongs.

Pogba’s Salary

Pogba will earn a whooping £104m pre-tax salary over five years. Report says, this figure that put off Real Madrid, who were also in the running for his signature. Only Cristiano Ronaldo earn more than that amount at Real Madrid.

With what has been the best transfer activity this summer, Mourinho will be expected to win the title this season. Should they fail, it will sure put a question marks.
