The holiday times are over for football players, managers and fans alike as every. It is time for the traditional pre-season tour where the players work hard to be in top shape for the next season. In this article we are going to look at the 2017/2018 Chelsea Pre-Season Fixtures.
Chelsea football club is set to start their pre-season training on Monday 10th of July. The English champions who have not had the best of times in the transfer window of late will be embarking on a tour of the far east playing matches in China and Singapore.
The club who is set to loose star striker, Diego Costa having been told by Antonio Conte to look for a new club also lost their prime striker target Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United. Rumours making the waves in the sports world now suggest that Antonio Conte and Diego Costa might settle their differences with Costa set to remain in west London.
Conte who has been frustrated by the failings of the club in the transfer market so far have succeeded in securing the transfer of long term target Antonio Rudiger from AS Roma but still needs to sign a striker, a midfielder and wing back at least to strengthen the squad which strolled to the title last season.
Having missed out on Lukaku, the likes of Andrea Belloti, Alvaro Morata have been muted to be their next prime target. Other targets include; Alex Sandro from Juventus and Bakayoko from Monaco for Wing back and Midfield positions respectively.
