French and Juventus midfield star Paul Labile Pogba transfer to Manchester United is a done deal according to Jose Mourinho. The long awaited world record transfer deal is set to be completed in a matter of hours according to reports.

The midfielder is currently in Manchester for his medical and sign the deal in a matter of ours. Manchester United will pay a world record transfer fee in the region of £112 Million for Pogba including add ons.

The news of the completion of the deal was first announced on the United official website earlier in the day. The news in United official website on Pogba transfer came just before the kick off of the FA Community shield.

It was titled; “Pogba to have medical at Aon Training Complex” and followed by a short message which read; “Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical in order to finalise his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United”.

Manchester United went on to win the community shield through a Zlatan Ibrahimovic goal and manager Jose Mourinho all but confirmed the deal.

While speaking to the press after the match at Wembley, Mourinho said;

“It’s amazing that such a good player is with us and finally we have him.”

“We have everything to give him and we know the reasons why he wants to come to us,”.

“He comes because he knows the club, knows the city, many of the players and wants to be an important part of the project.”

“If you want to be the best player in the world, if you go to Barcelona or Real Madrid you are in trouble because I don’t think the other two big guys will let you.” Speaking of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

On the Pogba’s transfer fee, Mourinho said: “I don’t think Real were upset when they broke the record with Gareth Bale or Cristiano”.

“I don’t think it’s a reason to be sad – it’s a reason to be proud”.

“Football is crazy and the market has become crazy. What you think this season is crazy, you realize three years later it’s not crazy any more”.

“What is expensive and not expensive in football? I don’t know any more. I just know he is a big player.”

Mourinho in his cynical ways however warned the 23-year-old that he has to work hard to make the first team.

Mourinho said: “He comes to a winning side, a side that won the last two matches – the cup final and the charity shield – so, he will have to work hard to get in the team.”

It will be recalled that Paul pogba left Manchester United four years ago after falling out of favour with the then Manchester United Manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Pogba transfer deal will see United pay a world record transfer fee for a player who left the club for free in 2012. United only got £1.5m in 2012 as compensation for Pogba transfer to Juventus.

Pogba transfer Fee  will be the first time an English club is paying a world record transfer deal. This record has over the years been maintained by Real Madrid. Gareth Bale’s £85m move to Real Madrid in 2013 had been the world record transfer fee.

Now that Pogba transfer to Manchester United is a done deal, we will wait to see if the fee was a mistake. He surely shows a lot of promise but even Real Madrid with their might considered that price to be too high.
