1. 2018 WAEC examination number
2. Examination year which is 2018
3. Type of examination. Private candidate or school candidate results respectively
4. WAEC scratch card serial number
5. WAEC scratch card PIN number

How to Check WAEC Result 2018

There are two different methods of checking WAEC result 2018. You can either check 2018 WAEC result online via WAEC result checker. The second way to check 2018 WAEC result is through SMS. I have carefully outlined the steps involved in each of the methods below:

A: How To Check WAEC Result 2018 Online with Result WAEC Checker

1:  Go the WAEC result portal or WAEC result checker on www.waecdirect.org. On the homepage, you will see the WAEC result checker on the left side of the page.

2:  Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. ( Your examination number is the 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456776)

3:  Enter your year of Examination eg. 2018

4:  Select the type of Examination –  whether private or school candidate

5:  Enter your Scratch Card Serial Number found on the back side of your scratch card.

6:  Enter your Scratch card PIN number

7:  Click Submit and wait for your results to come up.  Below is the snapshot of the WAEC result checker.

B: How To Check WAEC Result 2018 via SMS

This method is a very simple way to check WAEC result 2018 with SMS. It does not require an internet connection. With just SMS you can check your WAEC Result 2018. It costs only N30 per SMS and you will get your 2018 WAEC result sent to your phone via SMS.

To check your WAEC result 2018 by SMS, pick up your phone and send SMS in the in the following format:

1. WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear to 32327 ( available to MTN, Airtel & Glo subscribers)
2. Example -: WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2007 and send to 32327
3. Then Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost N30 Only)

PLEASE NOTE: You must ensure that you adhere strictly to the format above for you to check your WAEC result 2018 successfully via SMS. There should be no space in the message.
